Here it is, 11:30 at night... 20 degrees... and still snowing. Is there any end in sight!?! Oh, I'm trapped! Cabin fever taking over... must go outside to take pictures...






This is the snow drift in the path to the upper parking lot. It's 29" at it's highest point.

It's basically chiffon pie filling with double the Jello, two packets of unflavored gelatin and mini-marshmallows. Yum!

blog #202 >> Cookies n' Cards

With my locked in Snow Day today I finally got caught up on my list of things to do. I finished the Christmas cards and made some cookies.

Here's my vintage card of the year.

Here are my letters waiting for the mail carrier. I hope they don't fall!

And here are the goodies that came in the mail for me this week. (Excluding gifts I had order of course.) The postcards are from the lovely Marmee Craft. I was so excited when I saw the package this morning! I'll have to save one for myself. And the pins are from the amazing Agent Mermaid. And as requested here are a couple of pictures of the pins "in action." I pinned mine onto my scarf basket to brighten up the closet. Thank you very very much to you both!


I had to post this picture too. It's just so "Mr. Rogery." I guess I've got a lot of sweaters and coats.

blog #201 >> Christmas Cheer

One day of snow and I've already got cabin fever!
I wish I could post a whole bunch of Christmas posts like I did for Halloween, but I'm just so much busier this time of year. But here are the photos of what I've got so far...

blog #200 >> 200th blog!

It my 200th blog post!
I can't believe I've been blogging that much! It seems like just yesterday I started this wee blog. Ah well...
Today we saw the first snow of the year. And it's been beautiful! However we had to cancel Handmade Bazaar. We were going to go, no matter what. So I took the broom and brushed off the bulk of the snow from the car. Then we de-iced it and de-frosted it and packed it up full of our crafty goods. Afterwords we pulled out of the upper lot, got around the block, and the streets were worse than the parking lot. So we circled around and parked in the lower lot. Once home we ordered Chinese food from across the street and locked ourselves up for the wintry weather. Oh well, since we only get snow once or twice a year here, I'm going to sit back and enjoy it!
