Today was my family's annual pumpkin carving party. It was a great day complete with costumes, hayrides, s'mores, hot dogs on a stick and lots and lots of pumpkins. Last year I made this happy gnome and the year before I made a robot. This year, I decided to go with a pirate ship, and it actually turned out better then I thought it would. I only wish it were life size. I wonder what I should make next year?
p.s. Thanks Flapper Girl for the apron! It made a great costume!
p.p.s. I also entered my pumpkin in the Craft Blog Halloween Contest.
Let's see if I win anything!
Good night!

Ooh, I do love the pirate ship! Although your robot is my favorite (I'm unabashedly biased towards robots). Next year you should do a 1950-60s car. :)
Totally, cute and creative! (Came by way of HGTV Canada)
